Bushra qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1999 from Guy's King's and St Thomas’s Dental Institute. This was followed by a series of specialist hospital posts in maxillofacial surgery and pediatric dentistry. During this time Bushra gained her Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She completed her Specialty Orthodontic Training in 2006 obtaining a Masters in Orthodontics (MOrth) as well as her Membership of Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons.
